Retention of Title
Ownership of the goods supplied by Tool Safety Solutions Ltd. (LEADING EDGE) shall not pass to the buyer until they are fully paid for, the risk for the goods shall be borne by the purchase from the date of delivery by LEADING EDGE, or its carriers, to the purchaser. If the price for the goods is not paid by the due date, LEADING EDGE shall be at its absolute discretion and liberty to either recover goods or maintain an action for the price of the goods.
Warranty To End User
LEADING EDGE warrants to the original user (‘End User’) that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty extends for the lifetime of the product from the date the product is purchased by the End User, in new and unused condition. LEADING EDGE will not accept liability for defects that are the result of product abuse, misuse, alteration or modification, or for defects that are due to a failure to install, maintain, or use the product in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. This is the only warranty applicable to our products and is in lieu of all other warranties and liabilities, expressed or implied.
Returns & Exchanges
Credit will not be issued for custom-built items and items considered non-stocked items. Only unused, stock items, in re-sellable condition, in original packaging, complete with all documentation, with a purchase date of 28 days or less, will be considered for credit towards future purchases from LEADING EDGE, and will be subject to a restocking charge of £15 or 20%, whichever is greater. All returns must be shipped to LEADING EDGE freight prepaid. Acceptance of any return request after the first 28 day is at the sole discretion of LEADING EDGE. Collect shipments will not be accepted.
Minimum Order
We currently issue no minimum order quantities, however shipping costs are subject to economy of scale, so the more the buy, the cheaper it becomes to ship your goods.
Domestic Freight Policy
Goods shall be carriage paid by LEADING EDGE to single destinations within the United Kingdom on individual orders valued at £1000 or more, excluding VAT. For all order values below £1000, carriage will be charged at £15. Freight prepaid applies only to single shipment to one destination by standard freight means.
Export Freight Policy
Carriage is charged on all orders shipped outside of the United Kingdom based on size of shipment and destination. LEADING EDGE are not responsible for any local import duties and taxes, which are the sole responsibility of the importer (‘End User’). LEADING EDGE is able to provide export shipping cost quotation on request. Alternatively the importer (‘End User’) may arrange shipping independently.
Damaged Goods
From and after the delivery of goods to a carrier specified by the purchase and the carrier, all damage claims shall be made to the carrier by purchaser; however LEADING EDGE will assist insofar as practical in securing satisfactory adjustment of said claims.
Terms
Standard payment terms are 30 days from the date of invoice for account holders. LEADING EDGE reserves the right to cease trading with a customer (either permanently or temporarily) if payment is overdue or a customer has exceeded the credit limit set by LEADING EDGE. When goods are supplied on a Pro-forma bases, those goods will only be despatched upon receipt of cleared funds.
Prices
Prices are listed at Recommended Retail Price and exclude VAT. The prices contained in the 2016 price list effectively expire on the 31st of December 2016, but may be extended at the sole discretion of LEADING EDGE as required. LEADING EDGE reserves the right to modify or change prices without notice to reflect currency changes.
Governing Law
English Laws shall govern. Any legal action based on an order must be filed in a course of competent jurisdiction in the UK.
OEM Products
Special order items are subject to minimum order quantities and/or set-up charges specified at the time of quote and cannot be cancelled once the order is confirmed.
