We have developed a free "Height Safety Service Pack" to ensure you get the best support and care available at site level with absolutely no extra cost to you.

Toolbox TrainingBased on our specialist observations and customer recommendations and feedback we carry out on the spot “Secondary” training for the areas and issues highlighted. We don’t limit your advice and training by time or numerically, we ensure you are completely happy with the solutions and training provided while we are there. We also provide additional formal documentation listing the training we have covered and the delegates who participated which is handed to your site contact. A copy of this documentation is also sent an elected head office contact for their records. Refresher “Secondary” training is required under British Standards every six months once primary training certification is achieved to ensure candidates are kept up to date on safety standards, training and prevent waning safety skills. |
Formal Equipment Inspection. We will inspect and re-certify any Leading Edge equipment at your location by arrangement. We can provide the minimum of disruption while maintaining top quality safety standards with a thorough equipment check. All equipment that passes our formal inspection and is suitable for its allocated purpose will receive official inspection tagging detailing the equipment has been re-certificated by Leading Edge. Formal inspections need to be carried out on all equipment every six months. We include official documentation of the inspected items including serial numbers for your site contact along with a further list of all equipment that did not pass the inspection and is not suitable for use. A copy of these lists will then be sent to the elected head office contact for their records. |

![]() Licence Card GuidanceIf you discover an operative, who was previously trained by us, currently working in an unsafe manner or not adhering to safety practices then you can implement the card licensing system and remove their card authority by cutting off one of the four corners of their licence card. Following this step, you can then contact Leading Edge and a technical support member will arrange to come on-site and provide additional instruction to the operative and offer site management support. This will help the staff regain the skills they need to get back to their job and work in safe environment. It is vitally important to make sure all staff are kept up to date and continue to practice at peak safety levels to ensure the safety of not only themselves, but also those around them. This is why we also offer the choice to re-sit the whole training course for serial offenders or severe safety breaches. |
Site AuditA full site audit is essential for ensuring operatives are currently working safely at height and providing an all over health check to give you the opportunity to address any working or management issues along with HSE support either before or after a visit. A site audit gives us the opportunity to identify any areas that are unsafe where operatives are required to work at height, areas that require further attention, action or general improvement. Each site audit is supported by formal documentation for both the site contact and the elected head office contact for your records and as verification of its completion. |
