Level 1 – Operative Working at Height Training
This practical course provides operatives with the essential knowledge and skills to work safely at height. It covers hazard awareness, correct use of equipment, and safe working practices in line with industry standards. Key topics include the hierarchy of control, harness fitting and use, permanent and temporary anchorage systems, intermediate devices, dropped object prevention, and equipment care. Participants will leave with a strong understanding of how to identify risks and apply safe methods while working at height.
Level 2 – Management Working at Height Training
This course is designed for managers and supervisors responsible for overseeing work at height activities. It covers key legal and practical requirements including the Working at Height Regulations, British Standards, and the hierarchy of control. Participants will learn how to plan and manage safe systems of work, conduct risk assessments, develop method statements, and implement effective managerial controls. The course also includes harness use and inspection, anchorage systems (permanent and temporary), intermediate devices, dropped object prevention, rescue planning, and equipment care.
Rescue from Height Training
This specialist course equips participants with the knowledge and hands-on skills required to safely perform rescues at height. Covering both horizontal and vertical recovery techniques, it focuses on rigging, deploying, and operating rescue systems for a variety of scenarios, including conscious and unconscious casualty recovery. Key topics include suspension intolerance, reflow syndrome, harness refresher training, self-recovery, post-fall first aid, and rescue planning. The course also covers equipment selection, inspection, and proper storage to ensure readiness in critical situations.
Drop Prevention Training
This course provides essential training on preventing dropped objects in the workplace by using effective tethering solutions.
